The theme is dress as ‘your’ hero. It doesn’t have to be a superhero, but more about someone staff/ students hold as their hero, which could be anyone in your world. There will also be cupcakes to buy at recess for staff and students.

If you participate in dress up and cupcakes, there is a dollar required for each activity.

The newsletter is available to read! Next newsletter will be published in Term 3 at the end of Week 4.

Belmay will remain open, however, there may be some disruption to normal teaching and learning programs.

Regular teaching and learning will recommence at 12:30.

Parents and families are invited to join us for the Harmony Day picnic and to bring along a delicious lunch to share. Students are encouraged to dress in outfits representing their cultural background, or to wear orange to symbolise harmony and unity.

Students are invited to dress in Italian costumes. Come dressed as an Ancient Roman, as Pinocchio, as an Italian chef, or even as a pizza!

Students will have the opportunity to pre-order pizza ($2.50 per slice) and Italian ice cream ($2.50 per cup) to enjoy during lunchtime. Return order forms and payment to classroom teachers by 2 May.
