Computer2016 sees a big change for our school in the area of Digital Technologies. Students are exposed to more and more types of technology for diverse uses. At Belmay, we have invested time in research current good practice for students in this digital world and are making steps to ensure that every child can have opportunities to build on skills and knowledge in the area of Information, Communication and Technologies.

All classes are well resourced with computers, printers and now each class has the use of an interactive whiteboard. The school now has the use of 40 IPads across all learning areas, using a variety of apps to engage all students. Teachers at Belmay ensure that every effort is made to expose our students to new technologies in a variety of subject areas and settings.

Additional resourcing includes: a computer hub in the school library, the use of a dedicated classroom equiped with laptops for explicit instruction, bluetooth keyboards for every IPad, an extension to the school's WiFi network and the use of various online subscriptions for useful programs.

Please note that all students must have a signed Internet permission form before access to the Internet through the school is permitted.
